Jose Mourinho fuels Chelsea manager return rumours after Todd Boehly sacked Graham Potter

Chelsea are on the search for a new manager once again under Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali. Graham Potter was sacked on Sunday evening after just six months in charge at Stamford Bridge - suffering the same fate as Thomas Tuchel.

The Blues are sat 11th in the Premier League table after Potter only won 12 of his 32 games in all competitions as Blues boss. Champions League qualification is looking highly unlikely this term but Chelsea still remain in the competition with a quarter-final tie against Real Madrid on the horizon.

Bruno Saltor has become interim boss for the foreseeable future whilst the club begins the process of considering a number of candidates ahead of a permanent appointment. Mauricio Pochettino, Zinedine Zidane and Luis Enrique have all been linked with the vacant position, whilst Julian Nagelsmann remains a serious contender to replace Potter.
