Judge declares final ruling over Roblox gambling case

On Tuesday, a federal judge determined that the well-known online gaming company Roblox had negligently permitted minors to use in-game money in online casinos. However, the judge decided not to pursue charges of racketeering against the game.

The plaintiffs demonstrated that Roblox knew its regular procedures were being used to support illicit activity, but the judge decided that the racketeering claims had to be dropped since the plaintiffs had not established the existence of a criminal enterprise.

Absolutely it was definitely not a criminal offence which is the reason why such actions could never had been taken against the company but it was definitely the negligence of the company and I believe that the company should be fined to some extent so that they can become more responsible for their actions and their services to their players in the future and can provide a good and transparent experience for most of their players and can provide the community with trustable services indeed
