Judge in Borgata/MGM case rule in favor of compulsive gamblers

A judge dismissed a lawsuit from a self-described problem gambler who claimed that the Borgata and its parent company, MGM Resorts International, had solicited him with offers to gamble despite knowing about his addiction, ruling that the casinos in Atlantic City were not legally required to prevent compulsive gamblers from betting.

She also mentioned two earlier New Jersey cases in which a customer who claimed to have lost money gambling while intoxicated and a compulsive gambler lost their lawsuits.
