Kayo breaches gambling advertising rules

The Hubbl-provided sports streaming service Kayo was found by the Australian Communications and Media Authority to have violated gambling advertising laws by airing live sporting events after hours.

After viewers complained about live streams of several sporting events on Kayo, the Australian Communications and Media Authority launched an investigation into Hubbl.

Online content providers may not display gambling advertisements during live sporting events from 5 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., or during the five minutes prior to and following the event.
