Kazakhstan will raise the gambling age limit.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has affirmed its intention to enhance regulations for entry to betting. Deputy minister Yerzhan Erkinbayev stated that the upcoming regulations will involve an elevation in the minimum age for betting from 21 to 25. He mentioned that this action is aimed at eradicating gambling dependency among the youth and safeguarding individuals from financial obligations. The ministry will implement fresh administrative responsibilities to oversee the age of patrons at establishments and will mandate the police to outline protocols for managing venues that cater to underage clientele.
