Kentucky announces that $250million has been wagered since sports betting launch

Since sports betting became legal in the state last month, nearly $250 million has been wagered in Kentucky, according to the governor of the state.

On September 7, physical sportsbooks launched retail sports wagering, which generated $15.7 million in revenue overall.



After a postponed launch, mobile and online sports betting launched on September 28. Since then, 500,000 accounts have been established and over $232.3 million has been wagered through mobile devices.
