In April, following the approval of House Bill 551 by Governor Andy Beshear, the market opened up. This bill grants eligibility to nine racetracks in Kentucky to provide on-site retail betting. Additionally, each racetrack has the opportunity to form partnerships with up to three online operators, resulting in a total of 27 licenses available in the state.
