Kidnapper at Caesars Palace Las Vegas casino sentenced to four years in prison

A man who held a woman captive while throwing furniture out the window of a Caesars Palace hotel room in Las Vegas is going to jail. Casinos on the Las Vegas Strip are off limits to the offender as part of the penalty. In exchange for a plea bargain, he admitted to negligence and property destruction. For the charges, he might have received a term of up to five years.

Four years seems a fair punishment for this crime. Holding someone captive against their will like that was definitely wrong and dangerous, throwing furniture out the window also put people's safety at risk. Hopefully this will deter others from similar reckless behavior in the future.
