Kindred and Rangers Charity Foundation renew Team Talk funding agreement

Kindred Group, sponsor of Rangers FC, has announced the renewal of its funding agreement for Team Talk; a community initiative created by the Rangers Charity Foundation.

The Team Talk project is in its third year and the initiative supports men of all ages from all walks of life from the Glasgow area, with a specific focus on their mental health and wellbeing.

So far, the programme has helped 117 men in the Glasgow area, enabling them to share their feelings in a safe space.

Kindred’s sponsorship deal with Rangers is the longest-running in British football.

As part of the Team Talk initiative, Rangers’ new goalkeeper Jack Butland was invited along to one of the Foundation’s Team Talk sessions. Butland chatted to participants about their experiences and how the scheme has helped them and their families.

Rangers Charity Foundation CEO Connal Cochrane said: “We’re proud of the community initiatives that we have worked together with Kindred to build and to have helped so many people at Team Talk.
