Labour set to consider new evidence on gambling advertising reforms

The government is examining new research on gambling advertising as well as new policies and tactics to lessen the negative effects of gambling.

All of the major UK sports organizations have created their own Codes of Conduct on Gambling Sponsorships, according to Peacock, which outline the minimal requirements and obligations that gambling partnerships must adhere to.

By the end of the 2025–2026 season, the Premier League has promised to outlaw front-of-shirt sponsorship by gambling companies, which will drastically cut down on the amount of gambling sponsorships in UK sports.
