The National Lottery Heritage Fund is pleased to have given Lancaster City Museums over £5,000 for a traveling exhibition titled "Black Entertainers in Morecambe."
A galaxy of performers, including American celebrities connected to the Cotton Club and the Harlem Renaissance, will be on display in the exhibition, which is made possible by National Lottery players. The performers performed in Morecambe between 1850 and 1950.
