According to a report released on Wednesday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Clark County's gross gaming income in July reached a record $1.208 billion, up 7.5% over the same month last year. A record-high GGR of $834.9 million was recorded by strip casinos, the state's most important gaming business. The likelihood that Nevada casinos will set an annual revenue record for the third straight year is now almost certain. In 2022, gambling in Nevada produced GGR of $14.84 billion. That substantially surpassed the state's previous best revenue record, which had been established just a year earlier at $13.4 billion.
