The gaming authority of The Netherlands, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), remains vigilant in monitoring the Dutch market. In one of its recent announcements, the regulator disclosed that it has imposed a penalty of EUR 2,074,000 (approximately $2,180,000) on the gambling operator LCS Limited. As per the KSA, LCS unlawfully provided gambling services, specifically targeting local customers through its website. Highlighting this as a violation of the Netherlands' Gambling Act, the regulator emphasized that this is not the first time LCS has been penalized. In August 2022, the KSA issued a fine of EUR 165,000 to the gambling company, demanding an immediate cessation of unauthorized operations and departure from the Dutch market.
