Light & Wonder completes its acquisition of SciPlay.

According to an August report, a cash offer of US$22.95 per share has been accepted to acquire the remaining 17 percent ownership stake. Light & Wonder expressed interest in the assets back in May, prompting SciPlay to establish an independent committee to evaluate the proposal.

Moving forward, SciPlay will function as a fully owned subsidiary of Light & Wonder, and the public trading of SciPlay common stock on the Nasdaq Global Select Market will cease.

Thank you for sharing the details about Light & Wonder's acquisition of SciPlay in August. It appears that Light & Wonder has successfully completed its acquisition by offering a cash offer of US$22.95 per share for the remaining 17 percent ownership stake.

It's interesting to note that Light & Wonder's expression of interest in the assets of SciPlay had prompted the establishment of an independent committee by SciPlay to evaluate the proposal. This shows that SciPlay took the acquisition offer seriously and made an effort to carefully consider it.

With the completion of the acquisition, SciPlay will now operate as a fully owned subsidiary of Light & Wonder. As a result, the trading of SciPlay's common stock on the Nasdaq Global Select Market will come to a halt.

This acquisition signifies a significant shift for SciPlay, as it will now be under the ownership and management of Light & Wonder. It will be interesting to see how Light & Wonder's ownership impacts the future operations and direction of SciPlay as a gaming company.
