The Lithuanian Parliament held a vote to investigate the country's gambling advertising restrictions. With 73 votes in favor and one abstention, the proposed amendments were approved.
With this, gambling advertising will be outlawed nationwide starting in July of next year, with the exception of sporting events and competitions, sports sponsorships, and broadcasts of sporting events, which will have a grace period until January 1, 2028.
