Live! Casino Hotel set to hoist logo upon opening

When Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana opens next year, the resort will have the Cordish Companies' red Live! logo raised atop it.

Even though Cordish lacked expertise in reviving troubled casinos, it looked for a chance to grow its gaming business south. With the addition of a new 47K-square-foot physical casino, Cordish promised a more extensive makeover than Foundation promised.

The upcoming Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana will feature the Cordish Companies' iconic red Live! logo when it opens next year, marking a southern expansion of their gaming business. Although Cordish has limited experience in revitalizing casinos in difficulty, they seized this opportunity for growth. The new casino, spanning 47,000 square feet, is part of a substantial renovation effort that goes beyond previous plans by Foundation Gaming, the site’s former owner. Cordish aims to transform the resort into a prominent gaming destination, adding both physical and aesthetic upgrades.
