The Cordish Companies, a gaming and hospitality company with offices in Baltimore, runs Live! Casino Pittsburgh. To commemorate the almost $21 million in local tax advantages that the casino has provided to 38 nearby communities and organizations in Westmoreland, the corporation dispatched its officials to Pittsburgh this week. Live! Casino Pittsburgh has so far been the most prosperous of Pennsylvania's four satellite casinos. The Westmoreland Mall's former Bon-Ton department store was replaced with the 100,000 square foot building.
