Lottery winner from Thornbury in a heated dispute after obstructing public routes

A lottery winner named Mark Skuse from Thornbury got into trouble for blocking a public path near his mansion.

He was fined £8,155.60 for this. Mark argued that he took this step due to security concerns and unruly dogs.

However, neighbors and the council disagreed, stating that public paths shouldn't be closed off. The council hopes this case will discourage others from blocking public access.
