A lucky Vancouver resident will be able to pay off her mortgage and possibly get more sleep if she wins a $1 million lottery prize.

She said to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation that when she first scanned her ticket at a self-checker, she couldn't believe her good fortune.

She stated that she hopes the unexpected windfall will enable her to rest and sleep more, in addition to assisting her in achieving full home ownership.
