Louisiana gambling regulator set to resign in June

Resigning, citing family matters as the reason, was one of Louisiana's top gambling regulators. The initiation of sports betting in the state was mainly supervised by the Republican.

For background, June 30 is the official departure date of the revolutionary in gambling. 37 years of public service will come to an end with his resignation. Just before legal sports betting was introduced in the state in 2021, he was appointed to lead the Louisiana Gaming Control Board.
