Louisiana Gaming Control Board selects black man as chairman for first time

With the selection of a new chairman, the Louisiana Gaming Control Board is creating history.

The agency's chairman has been appointed by the governor, making him the first black citizen to occupy the prestigious role in the history of the state. He will assist in leading the company in preserving a profitable, safe, and equitable gaming industry in his capacity as a leader.

He'll make sure that gaming is safe in Louisiana for both locals and tourists.
