After buying a Powerball ticket on a whim and winning $150,000, a man from Louisville has a lot to celebrate.
The man, who wishes to stay anonymous, informed Kentucky lottery officials that he purchased the ticket as a result of receiving a marketing email.
Following the drawing, the winning ticket's $50,000 prize was awarded because it matched the Powerball and four white ball numbers. According to KY lottery, since he paid an extra $1 to add the Power Play feature to his ticket, his winnings were multiplied.
