Macau: Casino Shares Optimism Dampened by New Covid Case

Macau's casino rallied on Wednesday on the news that authorities are ready to resume group tours from mainland China to Special Administrative Region(SAR), only to subdue later in the day on the rollout of mass testing in some areas.

Following a report in TDM, shares of casino concessionaire jumped in early trading hours but did not manage to hold onto their gain after the city detected a new COVID infection case in about two months.

The report in the Media did not go into details about the date on which the tour will resume.
 
Macau casino should look for a way to assist the govt in tackling this covid case before it become pandemic again. They can use part of unclaimed winning to sponsor this exercise.
