Beginning in 2024, there will be a restriction on the number of Macau junket groups that can accommodate high rollers from mainland China and other Asian markets.
It was revealed on Monday by Macau's Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau that it will only grant a maximum of 50 licenses to junket groups next year. There will be a cap of 250 licensed workers on the number of agents that can work in the junket sector.
