Maine gaming regulator indefinitely suspended for derogatory tweets

Because of a tweet that contained a sexist epithet and another that can be interpreted as endorsing a white supremacist march, the man in charge of Maine's drawn-out sports betting implementation has been placed on administrative leave. The distribution will probably be further delayed since the offending social media antics of the man in issue, who only has 61 followers on Twitter, are drawing criticism. The 66-year-old regulator responded to a claim that calling a group of women "ladies" was improper on May 6. He said, "I believe 'bitches' is better in this day and age.
