Last week, a man was taken into custody in relation to allowing another person to take possession of the suspect's winnings from an Iowa casino.
According to authorities, a different individual at the casino claimed the jackpot and completed federal paperwork.
The actual winner ended up owing the state of Iowa $12,207. To exacerbate the damage, he was charged with third-degree fraudulent practices and gambling-avoid setoff.
