Marcus Rashford leaves the game with a limp after Manchester United destroy Everton.

Ten minutes before the conclusion of what should have been a straightforward Manchester United victory, manager Erik ten Hag was disheartened to see a despondent Marcus Rashford walking down the Old Trafford tunnel.

The Dutchman, who is now waiting for news on Rashford's fitness, was moved to tears and resorted to prayer, but he blamed the Premier League for the fitness issues with his 28-goal striker.

Ten Hag was incensed when he was given an early Saturday kickoff against Everton after being forced to play the late Sunday game at Newcastle the previous weekend and host Brentford the following week.
