A player at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore was found guilty of conspiring with two dealers to win at roulette and was given a 28-week prison sentence on Monday.
In connection with the scheme, the offender entered a guilty plea to two counts of breaking Singapore's Casino Control Act. In June 2021, he won US$2,600 from 192 wheel spins.
On Monday, his principal accomplice—who was also a dealer—was sentenced to 28 weeks in jail.
Although not imperceptible, the plan proved profitable. It was discovered by the Marina Bay Sands surveillance team during a regular inspection.
