One of the most popular blackjack betting strategies is the Martingale system. On a loss, the participant just increases their prior wager. "The logic behind it is 'I have had to win someday,'" says Mike Shackleford, "and when you actually win, you recuperate all those potential losses before you begin with such a one-unit wager, plus win another one units.
