A bill to outlaw internet gambling on college campuses has been proposed in Maryland; it was first read in the Ways and Means and Appropriations Committee. The bill would force colleges to create a geofenced virtual perimeter around their campuses in order to prevent students from accessing online sportsbooks using their phones.
