Maryland man wins $25,000 from purchase of five identical lottery tickets

A man from Maryland won a total of $250,000 after purchasing five identical tickets for the same Pick 5 lottery drawing.

The Manchester man informed Maryland Lottery officials that he decided to stop and buy lottery tickets while out running errands with his wife.

The man, who claimed not to play the lottery very often, selected the winning numbers after going through a list of previous Pick 5 drawings.
