Maryland native uses dead mother's lottery numbers to win $50,000

A man from Baltimore claimed to have won a $50,000 lottery prize using a set of numbers he inherited from his mother. The winner informed Maryland Lottery officials that, following her death, he continued his mother's practice of playing Pick 4 using a particular combination of numbers. The lucky guy said that he just tried the numbers on Pick 5 by adding a 1 to the end of his own number.
