Maryland sports betting surpasses $100million in education funding

With its total contributions to the state's education fund exceeding $100 million since the program's launch, Maryland's sports betting market has achieved a significant milestone.

August 2024 saw $5.6 million in contributions to the state from a $377 million total handle, according to the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

These donations are made to the Blueprint for Maryland's Future Fund, which provides funding for state-wide public education initiatives.
