Massachusetts gambling regulator to consider taking action against Bovada

The word about Michigan's cease and desist letter to offshore sportsbook operator Bovada is circulating quickly as the North America Gaming Regulators Association meets in South Carolina.

Other regulators are beginning to ask if they can take comparable action to combat the black market, with rumors circulating that Connecticut is about to follow suit.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board, which has been collaborating with the state Attorney General to tackle unregulated gaming, sent the letter in Michigan.
