Massachusetts Gaming Commission uncertain of plan to relinquish casino liquor sales

Why try to fix it if it isn't broken?

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission appeared to have responded in unison on Thursday to a state Legislature proposal to take authority away from the commission and its employees over the liquor licensing procedure at the state's gambling establishments.

The House's fiscal 2025 budget plan includes a proposal that would place the Alcoholic Beverages Commission in charge of the state's three casinos' licensed bars and restaurants.
