Gov. Maura Healey of Massachusetts has stated her support for moving the lottery online, supporting a House effort to do the same. The governor is committed to increasing lottery revenues and generating more money for the state. The launch of online lottery products for Bay State would make this possible.All that is left is for the Senate to make a decision on the legislation now that the House and the governor support it. Following the growth of sports betting, Massachusetts is considering regulating online lotteries.
