Massachussets Gaming Commission set to question casino operators on bet limitations

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is thinking of requiring operators to provide an explanation for the wagering restrictions they impose on players who win. The so-called wager limitations for sports wagering operators would frequently stop consistent winners from placing large bets while still permitting losing players to gamble away their savings.

The agency recognized that the aforementioned limitations occasionally assist operators in risk management and fraud prevention. But occasionally, the player's bet amount would be restricted by the application of this same mechanism on a per-customer basis.
