Online sports betting in Massachusetts is now available. The commonwealth is the 24th state in the United States to legalize and regulate internet sports betting. Alongside DraftKings, five other online sportsbooks accepted their first internet wagers in Massachusetts this morning. Sports bettors over the age of 21 can access FanDuel, BetMGM, WynnBet, Barstool Sportsbook, and Caesars Sportsbook, which are all physically situated within the state. Betr, which was also approved by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission to begin its internet sportsbook today, notified the agency that it was not ready and would not launch until April. BallyBet and Fanatics, both of which have received MGC certification, intend to establish online sportsbooks in Massachusetts later this year.
