Match fixing allegations in Brazilian football intensify

Brazil is still working to legalize sports betting there, and the sports business there is attempting to remove a cancerous growth that is wreaking havoc on it. Soccer match-fixing has been a problem for some time, as it has in other nations, and a fresh investigation has begun. In Brazil, talk of outcomes manipulation in sports betting has become commonplace. As the nation gets closer to passing new rules, it has even entered legislative discussions.

The most recent alleged match-fixing case centers on 14 individuals, including players, and at least three matches from the Brazilian Championship's Series B's final round. As a consequence, several of the athletes are currently the subject of inquiries.

I 5hink if we are not be careful, match fixing might be the end of sports and it's very rampant now especially in the south America. It's high time football federation and FIFA tan the issue very serious

I support the motive of Brazilian soccer authority to sanitize the field of match fixing before it become a cancerous epidemic. Brazil that is just beginning to legalize sports betting must not relent in its efforts to investigate any allegation bordering on match fixing.
