Matthew McClean: Looking forward to making his Masters debut as a player from Northern Ireland

Amateur golfer Matthew McClean from Northern Ireland says that competing in the Masters at Augusta was "unimaginable six months ago" as he prepares for his first tournament next week.
The US Mid-Amateur victory in September, which earned the 29-year-old optometrist an invitation to the Masters and US Open, set off a frenetic six months for the optometrist by trade.
McClean, who considers the renowned Augusta course to be a "bucket list" location, is eager to take advantage of the chance to compete in his first major there.
The enormity of it "hasn't really sank in" and "probably won't sink in" until I arrive, according to the Belfast native.
