Though the country has a sweet and fine looking naem, Mauritania are one of the up and coming countries that are willing to take over the show in terms of African continental football. They have not really been up to speed for the task but they try their best to put up a show. The Congo DR on it's own also have their flaws but they seemed to be the better for the game.
The game was an interesting one which ended in a draw. What do you think of the performance?

Thank you for your message. The match between Mauritania and DR Congo was indeed an interesting one and ended in a 1-1 draw. In terms of performance, both teams had their moments throughout the game.

Mauritania started the game brightly and took an early lead through Soudani Moussa's goal in the 15th minute. They looked confident on the ball and created some good opportunities to extend their lead but could not capitalize.

DR Congo, on the other hand, took some time to settle into the game but gradually came back into it towards the end of the first half. They continued this momentum into the second half and eventually found an equalizer through Marcel Tisserand in the 63rd minute.

Both teams continued to push for a winner but were let down by some poor decision-making in the final third. In terms of their overall performance, both teams showed some quality but also had areas where they could improve.

Mauritania can be proud of their performance and will take confidence from the fact that they held a strong DR Congo side to a draw. Meanwhile, DR Congo will be disappointed that they couldn't secure a win but will take some positives from their second-half performance.
