Mayor of London under pressure to ban gambling ads on Tube trains

The London Assembly Health Committee has called on the mayor of London to follow through on his promise made in his 2021 manifesto to outlaw gambling advertisements on the Tube and other Transport for London channels.

Against an overall revenue of £4.3 billion, this service made £663,640 from gambling advertisements in 2022–2023.

The committee heard that a legal dispute over the definition of harmful gambling was the reason behind the delay in enforcing the ban.
 
Such options are always in the control of a country and the authorities can definitely take action if they think such options are harmful for the community and the people definitely research should be done before any action should be taken in favour or against any of the options and so that the industry and grow up smoothly and the players are financially safe indeed
