Mega Millions winning lottery ticket worth $395million set to expire tomorrow

There is still one day left to claim half of a $395 million Mega Millions jackpot with a lottery ticket purchased in California.

One ticket has just one day left before it expires, but two tickets that were bought at the same California retailer split a $395 million Mega Millions jackpot.

If the missing ticket is still in the possession of someone, they can mail the winning ticket and the accompanying claim form to California Lottery headquarters or bring it to one of the nine offices located throughout the state.

It's surprising and unfortunate that such a life-changing prize might go unclaimed. Hopefully, the winner realizes in time, as letting $395 million expire would be a missed opportunity of a lifetime.
