MegaMillions hits 28th anniversary without jackpot win

The 28th anniversary of Mega Millions was celebrated tonight. Even though the game was initially drawn under the name The Big Game, the interstate lottery has continued to operate continuously ever since.

The most recent changes to the game occurred in October 2017, when the number of Mega Balls was increased from 15 to 25 and the play fee was doubled to $2. Some speculated that it might be simpler to win the jackpot because there were now 70 instead of 75 white balls.
