Menominee Indian Tribe signs intergovernmental agreements for proposed casino

In order to facilitate the proposed Hard Rock casino and hotel in Kenosha, representatives of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin have inked intergovernmental agreements with the county and city. The federal government and, eventually, the city governor must now approve the agreement.

A 2000-seat auditorium, restaurants, 150 hotel rooms, a ballroom, and a casino are all included in the proposed Hard Rock Kenosha plan. Over the course of 18 months, the $360 million casino project is expected to generate close to 1,000 construction jobs.
