MGM cyberattack likely costing casino millions of dollars every day

The MGM cyberattack, which started on September 10 and is still causing resort operations to be affected in Las Vegas and throughout the company's U.S. portfolio, is probably losing the gaming behemoth millions of dollars every day.
Long lineups are present for check-in at MGM locations. Additionally, players are not permitted to redeem their vouchers via self-service gaming cashier machines, but rather must wait for a floor attendant to personally hand out their winnings.

MGM Resorts sent a statement on Friday informing the public and the media that the company's websites and mobile application were once again operational, albeit with some limitations.

This cyberattack on MGM is definitely costing them a lot each day operations are impacted. It's a shame customers have to deal with long lines and delays getting paid their winnings during their visits. Hopefully MGM can get their systems fully restored soon so everyone's gambling experience isn't disrupted.

The cyberattack on MGM Resorts is a matter of great concern, as it has the potential to cause significant financial losses for the casino on a daily basis. The severity of this incident cannot be underestimated.
