MGM Resorts declares physical casinos operational despite cyberattack

Despite the global casino operator revealing a major cybersecurity issue yesterday, MGM Resorts is advising reservation holders not to cancel their stays.

MGM's domestic casino websites are still down this morning, and much of the company's IT infrastructure are still down due to the cybersecurity issue. MGM, on the other hand, claims that its casino operations have been restored and that its restaurants are fully operational.

MGM's sports betting and online gambling businesses have also been disrupted by the cyberattack, albeit the BetMGM platform is back up and running this morning.
