MGM Resorts International acquires Las Vegas Strip land for $54million

Acquiring 1.62 acres of land on the Las Vegas Strip in secrecy last May was MGM Resorts International.

The 1.62 acres cost the operator $54 million.

The Bellagio and the Cosmopolitan, both run by MGM, are situated between the property. The acreage cost $54 million, and the land is situated south of the well-known Bellagio fountains.

The 1.62 acres that MGM purchased are not publicly intended to be used for anything. However, given the small size of the land, it's probably safe to rule out the possibility of a new integrated resort opening there.
