Certain customer information, including names, contact information (such as phone numbers, email addresses, and postal addresses), gender, date of birth, and driver's license numbers, were improperly accessed as a result of the breach.
Social Security and passport numbers were also made public for a smaller group of customers.
Passwords, bank account numbers, and credit card information were not compromised in the incident, MGM Resorts emphasized.
