Michigan online gaming revenue in January hit a record $181.9 million.

In January, Michigan's online gambling made a lot of money, hitting a new high of $181.9 million. This includes both online games and sports betting.

Compared to last January, it up by 22.6%, but slightly down from December. Taxes paid by operators to Michigan and Detroit amounted to $39.8 million.

However, revenue from Detroit's traditional casinos decreased by 8.8% compared to the previous year.
